5 Best Kid-Friendly Resorts

It is a constant struggle while planning our vacation. Do we go to a kid-friendly resort that feels cheesy and has zero adult-themed activities, or do we pick a stuffy hotel our kids will hate? The first thing we always do is go online and start reading travel blogs (like ours) in hopes of getting some guidance. So, here are 5 Best Kid-Friendly Resorts for you to try!

  1. C LAZY U RANCH, COLORADO

First off, this resort is an all-inclusive ranch! It's right outside of Denver (by about 2 hours), and it needs to be with over 8,000 acres in it's property! In the summer you can ride horses, fly fish, mountain bike and hike while in the winter ice-skate, ski and tube!

2. AULANI- A DISNEY RESORT, HAWAII

This is on our bucket list for 2022, but from friends and family who have been- it's a must. It's Hawaii on Disney steroids. The pool is amazing- a lazy river, two water slides, a waterfall, man made reef and lagoon! Plus Disney characters roaming around for meet-and-greets throughout the property. All upgraded rooms feature a full kitchen and washer/dryer.

3. UNIVERSAL'S CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT- ORLANDO

Retro style rooms that are actually affordable in Orlando! Plus, this resort is just steps away from the Volcano Bay waterpark (which is a must!). Each room can hold up to six people with a small kitchenette. You're also part of the Universal property which is what we like to do. Just like if we're doing Disney, we want to stay on property for all the magic and fun!

4. JEKYLL OCEAN CLUB, GEORGIA

Have you heard of the Jekyll Ocean Club Resort? Neither had we. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, the views are beautiful! Each of their suites will give you a great ocean view. It's a newer resort but the reviews are already hugely in favor. Plus you can hop on their shuttle and go experience downtown!

5. ATLANTIS PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS

We are such a fan of this resort! If it's not a destination, at least let it be a stop on your cruise. You can swim with dolphins, swim near sharks or play all day at an amazing waterpark. If the kids are older, leave them at the pool and check out the casino! Then when it's all over for the day, this resort has some of the best beds we've ever laid on.
